LEAN MANUFACTURING - ELEVATOR MANUFACTURER (MULTINATIONAL)

 

Design and implementation of Lean Manufacturing solutions in the production plant in order to increase productivity and reduce lead times. The global productivity improvements achieved in all European plants are between 25% and 45% and the reductions of the delivery lead times have been higher than 30%. Because of the results achieved, we have become the preference consulting company inside the Group. We are still working at the moment on all their European plants and also on their US plants.

 

 

LEAN MANUFACTURING - FOOD COMPANY (MULTINATIONAL)

 

Design and implementation of solutions to reduce the set up time in a manufacturing line using the SMED methodology. The result based on the implemented solutions was a consolidated reduction of 60% and the expected result implementing new designed solutions would reach a set up time reduction of 90%. .

 

LEAN MANUFACTURING - AUTOMOTIVE MANUFACTURER (MULTINATIONAL)

 

We provided technical support to the client during the engineering design of the manufacturing cells to produce exhaust pipes. We were involved into the production start up phase until it was considered a consolidated process. We have designed the integration of procurement and production and design the Just in Time delivery.

 

LEAN MANUFACTURING - SEMITRAILER MANUFACTURER

 

Design and implementation of Lean Manufacturing solutions in the shop floor in order to achieve productivity improvements and lead time reductions. The results achieved were 35% of productivity increase and a lead time reduction higher than 50%. We are still collaborating in the customer service area, in an ABC costing project and in the design of new manufacturing facilities.

 

LEAN MANUFACTURING - HOUSEHOLD APPLIANCES MANUFACTURER (MULTINATIONAL)

 

Blueprint to analyze the cost and benefit of transferring a product and the corresponding manufacturing plant to another country. Design of transfer plan, implementation and start up of production line, establishment of logistics and procurement and searching and closing agreements with local suppliers.

 

 

SUPPLY CHAIN OPTIMIZATION - MACHINERY MANUFACTURER

 

Redesign and implementation of the whole supply chain with the purpose of improving lead times and cutting costs. Production is by commission and the lot size is one. Processes involved: commercial, product design, procurement, manufacturing and shipping. Reductions of total lead time higher than 40%, productivity improvement higher than 15%.

 

STRATEGIC SOURCING AND PROCUREMENT  - FURNITURE MANUFACTURER

 

Analysis of direct material spend, of purchasing requirements and of markets of supply. Establishment of differentiated strategies by category and reconfiguration of the supply base through negotiation and closure of new agreements. The spend saving was 12%. Strategic sourcing and procurement processes redefinition, establishment of a control board based on key performance indicators and creation of a new organizational structure.
